"Five a Day for Better Health" is a national campaign
that encourages all of us to eat wisely and exercise regularly.
The state of California wanted to reach low- and moderate-income
audiences with this message. We were called on to created
a booklet of recipes and can-do stories for this market.

Recipes and ingredients were tested extensively with target
audiences. Then Graves Fowler worked with a food editor/ stylist
and photographer to insure that dishes were presented appropriately.
The book, published in Spanish and English, is distributed
free of charge across the state. We also created educational
materials targeted to middle school children.
