It isn’t often (in fact I can’t remember when this ever happened before) that we get unsolicited feedback from the people who actually receive and use the promotion materials we design. Just last week, however, the Archdiocese of Washington sent us a copy of the kickoff brochure for the 2010 annual appeal. A donor had jotted comments all over the piece about what he (or she) felt worked in the design and messaging.
“This bulletin insert is very well done and provides relevant information for making an informed decision on contributing to the 2010 Appeal—Thank you to those who designed it.”
Wow. And thank you to this anonymous fan who made our day.
